I visited Dr. Dean of Endodontic Associates for a root canal. The office is nicely appointed, the staff friendly and professional, and Dr. Dean has an excellent manner with patients. After looking at x-rays, he informed me that the chances of a root canal succeeding where 50/50, explained why, and outlined my options in clear terms. I ultimately decided to proceed with the root canal. During the procedure Dr. Dean regularly checked to ensure I remained comfortable and tell me what was happening. Happily there was no pain and only minor discomfort which was very brief. My insurance currently doesn’t have an in-network endodontist in Tallahassee, so I was driving nearly 3 hours to Gainesville for my appointment. I greatly appreciate the fact that Dr. Dean allowed me to combine my new patient evaluation and initial root canal treatment to a single day. I return soon for the follow-up visit to determine if the root canal was successful. Regardless, due to his patient-centered care and honesty, I would highly recommend Dr. Dean, as well as his assistants Lauren and Jaci.

First off I am 1 of those people who has dental anxiety like crazy. It's literally number 1 fear. I had to go in for what was thought to be a root canal. Dr. Dean took a long look at my x rays and said it wasn't necessary. It was a relief. He went on to spend ample time with me figuring out what could possibly be causing my discomfort. I couldn't have asked for a better Dr. This dude was cool, honest, very professional and just all around a great guy. His "assistent"(not sure if that's the correct word and I don't want to discredit anyone's profession or title) was a young lady who was also absolutely sweet and very caring. Both of them answered all questions and were very attentive. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I hope I don't ever need to go back but if I ever need a root canal this will absolutely be my first choice even if I have to travel far to get there. Super professional and awesome people!! Very satisfied and would recommend.

Fast, efficient - minimum discomfort. A root canal is what it is... Dr Dean has the right touch. Had two, not bad. . Thanks, Dr "T"

I had my 1st root canal today and I was extremely nervous. Dr. Glenn and his assistant (I can't remember her beautiful Spanish name) were amazing. They kept me informed and the beautiful view with the nature, birds, and squirrels was very serene and relaxing. I felt nothing and still feel fine hours later. I appreciate their hard work and the relief they've given me 😊 Thank you all!

I never imagined I would be excited about a root canal. Dr. Dean, and his assistants, turned a potentially frightening experience, into a relaxing, peaceful experience. I didn’t know what to expect, going into Dr. Dean’s office. My first contact was with Tracy. She was able to get me an appointment within three days of my call. Super nice, and efficient on the phone, and in person. I had the first procedure, for my root canal, the first part of December. The office is very clean, and modern. The check in was fast, and efficient. I was in the dental chair, which faces a beautiful exterior garden, within minutes of checking in. I met Dr. Dean, and his assistant Hanna. Dr. Dean is extremely professional, but also compassionate. I was give a local anesthetic, which I hardly felt, and sat for around five minutes before Dr. Dean, and Hanna returned. He, and Hanna, are very precise, regarding explaining the procedure. I expected a lot of pain, and loud drilling. Nope. No pain. A little pressure, and quiet drills. Dr. Dean also has a very lulling, comfortable voice, which is very reassuring. The two worked together like a finely tuned machine. Before I knew it, they had finished with the p
